Walk 1 : From Haggerston till Hackney Wick

Now I am going every week to a new area, get lost and improvise: I walked quite a number of miles following the Regent’s canal :image

As I am doing a photographic project on water, it is perfect area to hang out: cyclists, art student doing video project, ducks, definitively water and by luck sun was shining on that day:

I wanted to visit galleries on Vyner street but is closed on Tuesday so only go there from Wednesday. At the end of the walk, I could see the Olympic parc very nearby. There are a lot of lights and strong shadows so a graduated ND filter comes to good use for the photographers who owns one.  Lots of people are walking or cycling until Victoria park. Between Victoria Park and Hackney wick, the canal is quieter with little house and towers on the other side of the canal and not warehouse anymore. It can even feel a bit isolated, especially at sunset. Great day out!
