When one started a photo course, the teacher will try to instill in us the art of taking sharp pictures with lots of technical details. After learning all that, I felt recently on 2 occasions that it would be interesting to try the opposite, once after doing classical studio pose of a model and another time at Knebworth house. Suddenly my camera went moving to make the model come to life and the flower exploded in colours and i was quite happy when i saw the images.
Smartphone or big camera?

Crescendo Art
I was at Eva Edery Crescendo Art glass studio. I could see how Eva was working and preparing the glass before putting in the oven and we did some photos showing her workflow. Those are finished clocks. I love her work!
I saw great photography and photographers this week!
First Everything is moving at the Barbican, very impressive especially as done for most on film!
i went back before leaving for Graciela Iturbide, very strong.
then the Societies Convention ( including all sorts of photography), i need to go back the whole week next year. One can learn so much about photography and business from Speakers and talking to other delegates too.
Great training and i really liked Damian Mcgillicuddy, so easy to listen to and totally efficient at same time.
Chris Lord showed us very interesting portfolios.
Kevin Wilson did some magic with wedding pictures.Always a bit different from the crowd. i find it poetic.
So i learned a lot and cannot wait to do more training with them.
